How the Baiterator came to be!

My name is Jay, I'm in IT. I'm a nerd. My girlfriends name is Angie, she's a Cosmotologist/Hairgician, and hard worker. We are both fisherpeople. Angie is a little more into it than I am. Some days we would go fishing after work, and have half a dozen minnows or more left. After sitting all night, most of them would die. So after thinking about how to keep them alive over night, tabs (consumables), bait aerators that take big ol' D batteries (consumables), or 12v aerator/cooler combos (bulky and expensive), a simple aquarium pump (only good at home)... Wow, the options are not very versatile or compact. Granted we both drive Jeep Grand Cherokees, so we can carry some bulk, but where we fish isn't always so open or easy to get to.
So my nerd mode kicked in.
Wouldn't it be nice to have a USB rechargeable aerator about the size of a cell phone?
So I went to work and did a bunch of testing with different motors, pumps, drainback valves, air stones, batteries, chargers, and got it all wet. The first versions were crude, functional, lumps.People started asking about them, and most people said "that would be nice to have, I can't believe you made that." So I figured out how to clean up my design, put it in a clean package, and produce it.
This is where it gets tricky. Every one is hand made.
If you like my idea, and want one, I have some available. I will continue making these as long as people want them.

Some of our success!
